Join a guided nature experience on Tasmania’s Tasman Peninsula, where the animals are wild, the habitat is real and no two days are the same.
Since 1978 this land has gone from farm, to wildlife park, to Unzoo. Our guides share that story as you walk – how the plants, insects, birds and animals here all depend on one another.
Allow around two hours for the Unzoo Guided Tour, or add on the Devil Tracker Eco Tour: an approximate 1.5 hour 4WD journey into the nearby forest – for a deeper, behind the scenes experience.
Based in Taranna on the iconic Tasman peninsula. Right near Port Arthur and about an hour’s drive southeast of Hobart via the Arthur Highway. Open daily from 9am.

Walk with one of our guides through natural bushland and hear the story of the Tasmanian devils who share this land with us. Spot some of the nearly 100 bird species and insects found nowhere else & take your time among the rare plants of our native botanic garden.

Devil Tracker Eco Tour & Unzoo
Head into the forest by 4WD with an expert guide and follow the wild Tasmanian devils we monitor and protect on the Tasman Peninsula. Check remote cameras and tracking equipment, see conservation science in action, and enjoy a different adventure every time.
