Wherever you are around the globe, we will welcome an Expression of Interest if you might wish to join our Unzoo team.

For a start you will have to love Nature and be prepared to embrace our forward thinking Unzoo principles rather than the old ways of a traditional zoo.

Preferably you will be a people person and an ecologist or biologist with extensive experience in guiding and interpretation.

Your mission will be to tell the unique story about our change from a collection of captive animals to a “wildlife without cages”Unzoo experience based in Tasmania. It is a tale about meeting a world-first challenge and how, while we are not perfect, that is part of the intrigue.

Our key language of course is English however if you speak another tongue, especially European or Japanese, that will be an advantage.

From time to time we also might require another person with animal keeping experience to help manage a few Tasmanian devils that are part of the Save the Devil Programme.
